Mandeep Bassi, the complainant, alleged that the suspect, Mandeep Jindal, instead of reprimanding his driver, had lost temper and opened fire at Bassi when the latter, along
with his friend, went to suspect’s residence, following an argument with his driver.
Bassi alleged that the driver was driving the vehicle in a rash manner through the residential area about 11.30 pm on Wednesday and threatened to do the same in
the future when he was asked to be cautious and slow while passing through the colony.
Investigating officer in the case Kulvir Raj said an FIR was being registered and further action would be taken after verifying allegations levelled by the complainant.
