Manmeet, Rahul to lead Punjab in 3x3 Basketball Championship

International player Manmeet Kaur has been named captain of the Punjab women’s U-23 team, while Rahul will lead the men’s side in the inaugural edition of the National 3x3 Basketball Championship to be held from June 12 to 14 in Kochi, Kerala.

Other members of the women’s squad include Kanishka Dheer, Nadir Dhillon and Komalpreet Kaur Cheema—all of whom are also international players. The men’s team will feature Harmanjot Cheema, Jaideep and Sandeep Singh. Harpreet Kaur Dhillon will accompany the teams as manager.

The teams were given a warm send-off at Guru Nanak Stadium.
