Ludhiana suffered their second consecutive defeat as they went down to Mansa by 94 runs in the third league match of the ongoing Punjab State Inter-District (U-23) One Day Limited Overs Cricket Tournament, organised by the Punjab Cricket Association. The match was held at Mansa.

In the first fixture, Ludhiana beat Patiala by five wickets but lost to Sangrur by the same margin in their second game.

Batting first after winning the toss, hosts Mansa posted a competitive total of 315 for six. Manjinderjot Singh top-scored with 88 runs, which included two sixes and eleven boundaries. Delove Kumar Goyal remained unbeaten on 58, while Aaditya Balana and Deepinder Singh contributed 56 runs each.

For Ludhiana, India U-19 pacer Aradhya Shukla took three wickets for 56 runs. Shivam Verma, Savinay Kakkar and Saksham Vij chipped in with a wicket apiece.

In response, Ludhiana were bowled out for 221 in 40.5 overs. Saksham Vij was the leading scorer with 56, followed by Savinay (41) and Sarthak Tyagi (30*).

Deepinder Singh Cheema starred with the ball for Mansa, taking six wickets for 46 runs, while Sehjad Singh claimed three wickets for 25.
