Mayor, MLA launch project to build roads in Transport Nagar

Accompanied by councillor Nikku Bharti, the Mayor and MLA said the project was being taken up at an estimated cost of around Rs 71 lakh.
Prashar said they had got roads constructed in Transport Nagar in the past too and other roads were now being covered under the project that had been inaugurated on Saturday.
Feedback was taken from transporters and the decision was taken to construct roads due to movement of heavy vehicles in the area.
The Mayor and the MLA said the state government, led by Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann, was working to develop quality infrastructure across the state and every step was being taken to facilitate residents at large. More projects worth crores would be launched in coming days.
