MC chief takes stock of dev works in Salem Tabri area

After issuing strict directions to the civic body officials for expediting the development works and ensure the quality of the works, Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal conducted a surprise inspection to check Ambedkar Bhawan near Jalandhar bypass.

MC Commissioner Dachalwal also checked the ongoing work to reconstruct the streets in Salem Tabri area and issued necessary instructions to the staff and contractor. Later, Dachalwal also visited the sub-zone office of the MC on the road leading to Karabara Chowk from Old Sabzi Mandi area.

After conducting inspection at Ambedkar Bhawan, Dachalwal said he has sought a report regarding the same. The civic body might consider making changes in its management committee for improving the functioning of the committee.
