The teams razed the temporary fish markets and confiscated the racks among other material from the meat shops involved in illegal slaughtering.

MC Joint Commissioner-cum-Zonal Commissioner (Zone A) Chetan Bunger said that the issue was raised during the meeting of a Vidhan Sabha committee held in the past as those involved in illegal slaughtering have also been dumping the waste in the nullah.
