In the memory of Sant Ishar Singh Ji Rara Sahib Wale, a grand medical camp was inaugurated at Rara Sahib Hospital followed by Ardas. Under the guidance of Sant Baljinder Singh Ji Rara Sahib Wale, this camp will run till August 31 at Sant Ishar Singh Ji Memorial Hospital, which is a multispecialty NABH accredited hospital.

Chief Operating Officer of the hospital, Dr Harpreet Singh Gill, said that during the camp, up to 25 per cent discounts would be offered on all types of blood tests and ultrasound scans. In particular, normal delivery charges will be completely free and other surgeries like knee/hip replacement and all types of orthopaedic, eye, laparoscopic and general and urology surgeries will be done at low rates.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
