The event was chaired by Saurabh Swami, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner I, and was also attended by Paritoshdeep Singh Sekhon, RPFC-II, and other dignitaries.

The seminar’s aim was to empower employers with knowledge, tools and confidence to make the most of the government’s newly launched Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) and promote seamless compliance with EPF schemes. The scheme has been implemented with the purpose of generation of employment, enhancing social security, specially in the manufacturing sector. Over 300 prominent employers and industry representatives along with trade union representatives from Ludhiana gathered under one roof, creating a vibrant environment of collaboration and forward-thinking.

Pooja Kohli and Anu Shree, enforcement officials, delivered an engaging PPT presentation on the yojana and UAN activation guidance. The PPT presentation was followed by a question-answer session, led by Paritoshdeep Singh Sekhon, Regional PF Commissioner II, and a designated team addressing doubts and queries from the participants.
