Punjab Minister for Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Hardeep Singh Mundian today visited the residence of Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda at Pauna village near here to pay condolences on his death.

Recounting the contribution of Rajvir Jawanda towards the revival of Punjab’s cultural heritage through his songs, Mundian assured the aggrieved family, led by the deceased’s mother Paramjit Kaur, that people will remember him (Rajvir) through his songs. Earlier, Mundian oversaw arrangements being made for the Bhog ceremony of the late singer, scheduled to take place on Friday.
