Minor girl raped in Ludhiana

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three friends after they took her to a flat in Dugri. The girl’s mother filed a police complaint a month after the incident, which led to the registration of a case.

The accused have been identified as Gurman, Jashan and Jass. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

According to the victim’s mother, a resident of Ludhiana, the incident occurred on August 10, 2025. She said that the accused took her daughter to the flat of one of the accused persons under a false pretext. The girl was kept in the flat overnight, during which she was sexually assaulted.

Investigating officer assistant sub-inspector Salvinder Pal Singh, Shimlapuri police station, said that the victim’s mother earlier submitted an affidavit denying any sexual assault. However, she later filed a complaint, prompting police to registered a case. Medical examinations of the girl would also be conducted as part of the investigation.

About the whereabouts of the accused, ASI Singh said that the girl only knows their names but is unaware of their current locations. Police are actively working to identify and arrest the suspects.
