Mishika Sood and Vaidehi Duggal, students of Class IX at DAV Public School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar branch, performed well in the recently concluded Punjab State Inter-District Women (U-19) One Day Limited Overs Cricket Tournament, organised by the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA).

Mishika represented Ludhiana district while Vaidehi played for Moga district in the tournament.

Mishika (wicketkeeper and batter) made her presence felt and helped her team emerge as the runners-up while Vaidehi (opening batswoman and pacer) played useful innings for her side. The highlight of her contributions was an innings of 64 runs in the match against Bathinda.
