MLA Bagga inaugurates two tubewells
Ludhiana North MLA Madan Lal Bagga inaugurated two tubewells—in Jagan Nath Puram (Ward 68) and Nanak Nagar (Ward 87)—on Thursday to streamline the supply of potable water in the areas.
Councillors Pushpinder Bhanot Bittu and Harjinder Singh Bali, among others, accompanied MLA Bagga during the inauguration ceremony.
A 25hp tubewell has been installed in Nanak Nagar at a cost of around Rs 10.50 lakh, while a 12.5hp tubewell was installed in Jagan Nath Puram at a cost of around Rs 5 lakh.
MLA Bagga stated that the area residents had been facing problems with potable water supply and had raised the issue in the past.
