In an initiative to upgrade the road infrastructure in the city, Atam Nagar MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu on Tuesday kick-started a project to construct the RMC road in Industrial Area-B here. The total cost of the project is estimated to be Rs 51 lakh.

MLA Sidhu said a large number of development works were being taken up in the constituency. The construction of the RMC road would attract new investment and boost the industrial growth in the city. The authorities had been directed by the MLA to ensure that the development works were expedited and completed in the stipulated time.
