Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora assured the legal fraternity of swift resolution to key civic issues, including parking congestion, water scarcity and power outages. Addressing a gathering of city lawyers during his visit to the complex on Thursday, MP Arora acceded to help build a multi-level parking structure to ease the long-standing problem of inadequate parking facilities. He further promised to install 20 RO systems with water coolers to tackle the issue of a lack of safe drinking water. In a move to address frequent power cuts, he also committed to providing a generator set to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply at the premises. The visit concluded with an interactive session where lawyers expressed gratitude to the MP for his commitment towards improving the working conditions.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
