Mumbai Cricket Eleven headed by Jai and Feroze won the 10th Ahmedgarh Premier League by defeating Kolkata Eleven of Mani and Amna in the final match held at Chhapar village near here.

Simma Boparai was named the Man of the Match and Feroze Khan was declared the Man of the Series in this tournament organised by Gandhi Chowk Welfare Club, Ahmedgarh.

Bhoj Raj Sharma, convener of the event, said ten teams from various places had participated in the event that is held every year on the pattern of the Indian Premier League.

Former councillor Deepak Sharma chaired the concluding session during which the winners and runners-up were felicitated with mementos and Rs 51,000 and Rs 31,000 in cash prizes.
