Aditya, who aspires to follow in his parents’ footsteps and pursue a career in medicine, credited his success to consistent efforts and balance. “I used to study for 10 hours daily but never ignored the importance of sports. Playing table tennis every day helped me stay refreshed,” he said.

His achievement has brought cheer to his school and family and he hopes to join one of the country’s top medical colleges in coming months.

“I want to be a cardiologist and currently have no plans of moving abroad. I belong to a family of doctors with my father Dr Sachin Gupta, an anaesthetist, and my mother Dr Reenu Gupta, being a gynaecologist, and my younger brother also preparing to join a medical college. I am planning to stay in my country and serve the people of the nation,” he said.
