The complainant told the police that on December 9, her daughter was going to her aunt Roshni’s house with her mother (complainant’s mother). In the meantime, the girl child went missing. Her mother tried to search for the girl but in vain. Afterwards, she informed her. She also informed her family members and they all started searching for the child.

“While we were searching for our daughter, we heard screams of the child from a house located in the street behind our house. When we enquired, the girl’s voice was coming from the house, the door of which my brother tried to open. As nobody opened the door, we broke open the door. When we entered the room, we were shocked to see that our neighbour Ankit Kumar was sexually exploiting her. As we tried to catch the suspect, he escaped from the scene after pushing my brother,” the victim’s mother said.

Investigating officer ASI Radhey Shyam said after registering a case against the suspects, further investigation was launched and a raid was being conducted to nab him.
