DM imposes Sec 163 within 100m of UPSC exam centres for November 30

District Magistrate (DM) Himanshu Jain, exercising powers conferred under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has prohibited the assembly of five or more persons (except candidates appearing in the examination, authorised invigilators, supervisory staff and officials on duty) within a radius of 100 metres of nine examination centres where the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Recruitment Test for Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EPFO) and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) will be conducted on Sunday from 0600 hrs to 2000 hrs.

Jain said that it was essential to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of these prestigious examinations.

The examination will held at SCD Government College, Near Rose Garden, Civil Lines; SDP College For Women, Daresi Road; Khalsa College For Women, Civil Lines; Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Gill Park; DAV Public School, Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar; Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Kitchlu Nagar, and MGM Public School, Dugri.
