A 58-year-old NRI from Canada died under mysterious circumstances at Omaxe Residency here late last night around 10.45pm. Sinder Singh fell from the 13th floor of the Omaxe Residency and panic gripped among the residents as his body was lying in a pool of blood. The residents tried to provide first-aid to the deceased, but to no avail. The police of Sadar and Lalton Chowki were immediately informed about the incident.

According to information, the person belonged to Shehzada village and had come to India from Canada about three-four days back.

The police are checking the CCTV footage. The brother of the deceased lives in Shehzada village and he was informed about the incident. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
