This year, Punjab secured only two medals, both of which were won by Ojas Sund, making his achievement even more significant for the state.

He credits his success to the constant support and guidance of his parents, especially his father Madhav, who himself is a former national-level swimmer. Ojas says: “My parents are the biggest support behind all my achievements.”

His uncle is also a former national swimmer and Ojas is now proudly carrying forward the family’s swimming legacy with his remarkable performances.
