The Ludhiana (Rural) Police claimed to have arrested a migrant labourer from Bihar for his involvement in distributing drugs and narcotics among addicts of this region.
More then 1 kg of marijuana (ganja) was seized from the accused, identified as Ram Parvesh Chaudhary of Kabira village in Saharsa district of Bihar, who was presently staying at Sarabha village.

The accused was arrested when he was going from Dhaipai Bridge to Sarabha village to deliver the consignment to some consumers, who are yet to be identified.
Ludhiana SSP (Rural) Navneet Singh Bains informed that a patrolling party had intercepted the suspect when he was going on foot from Dhaipai Bridge to Sarabha village yesterday.
