With the intent to sensitise students about their priorities during summer holidays, the heads of various government schools, falling under the jurisdiction of Ludhiana District Education Officer (DEO), organised parent-teacher meetings at their respective institutions today.

DEO Ravinder Kaur supervised the smooth conduct of meetings and visited some schools to oversee arrangements made for the parents of the wards proceeding on summer holidays.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
