The 555th Parkash Purb of Guru Nanak Dev — first Guru of the Sikhs — was celebrated with religious fervour all over the city. Not just the Sikhs, people belonging to different faiths and caste communities came to gurdwaras to pay obeisance.

The devotees were seen making a beeline for kar sewa and langar sewa. Starting from small kids to elderly devotees, langar sewa was performed by turn to seek the blessings of the Guru.
