Faculty from the Department of Extension Education, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), won laurels at the 12th National Seminar on ‘Futuristic Agriculture: Technology, Sustainability and Beyond’, held at Umiam, Meghalaya.

The seminar was organised by the Society for Community Mobilisation for Sustainable Development (Mobilisation) in collaboration with the Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, and the ICAR Research Complex for the North Eastern Hill (NEH) Region, Umiam.

Dr Lakhwinder Kaur, extension scientist, received the ‘Young Women Extension Scientist Award’ while Dr Dharminder Singh, principal extension scientist, and Dr Manmeet Kaur, associate professor, received the ‘Best Poster Awards’ under various seminar themes.
