The Offset Printers Association (OPA) hosted a seminar today on the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

NK Thaman, an advocate, was the keynote speaker. The event drew a large audience of printing and packaging professionals, eager to gain a deeper understanding of the evolving tax landscape, particularly in light of the recent GST rate revisions on paperboard and corrugated boxes.

Thaman delivered a slide presentation on the latest updates and implications of the GST for the printing and packaging industry. He covered various aspects such as compliance requirements, filing procedures, and potential tax benefits for printers.

Thaman emphasised the importance of understanding the regulations to optimise business operations and remain competitive in the market.
