Project to build retaining wall, road alongside Buddha Dariya kicked off

For improving road infrastructure and to ensure safety, Central MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi inaugurated the project to construct the retaining wall and road alongside Buddha Dariya at the rear of Gurdwara Gaughat Sahib here

The project is being taken up at a cost of around Rs 1.40 crore and a concrete road would be constructed for facilitating residents. Councillor of Ward 10 Pardeep Sharma Gabby, Ward 83 in-charge Raju Vohra and AAP volunteers and residents of the area were present during the inauguration ceremony.

The MLA said the project was a part of a major project that was launched in the past to construct a road on the other side of the dariya.
