Under the leadership of the Director of Extension Education at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, a five-day training programme on ‘Bakery and Confectionery’ was conducted for home scientists and demonstrators from Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs).

Organised by the Skill Development Centre, the training concluded with much appreciation from the participants and experts alike.

Training coordinator Dr Prerna Kapila highlighted that numerous participants from the various KVKs availed the training, gaining knowledge and skills that would enable them to guide trainees in entrepreneurial bakery ventures. Practical demonstrations and updated technology were shared by the experts.
