It was a mixed day for Ludhiana City FC as they registered a win in their opening match but lost the next one in the ongoing Punjab Futsal Club Championship being organised by the Punjab Football Association at Lovely Professional University indoor stadium, Phagwara, on Friday.

In the first match, Ludhiana City FC prevailed over Punjab Tigers FC 6-4. However, in the second match, Ludhiana City FC could not match their experienced opponents from Minerva Academy FC and lost it 1-6.

Futsal is a mainly indoor football-based game played on a hardcourt, such as the one used for basketball, smaller than a football ground. It is played between teams of five players each with rolling substitutes.
