Ranjhana secures double gold at tennis tournament

Ranjhana Sangram, a trainee at Harvest Tennis Academy (HTA) in Jassowal Kular village, delivered an outstanding performance at the All-India National Ranking Tennis Tournament, securing two gold medals. She triumphed in the U-16 singles and doubles categories.

In the singles final, Ranjhana dominated third seed Aaradhya Meena from Rajasthan, with 6-2, 6-0 victory. Ranjhana then partnered with Aaradhya in the doubles event, where they defeated the third-seeded pair Shibani Gupte from Maharashtra and Aashi Kashyap from Haryana 6-3, 6-4, to secure her second gold medal.

Gurdeep Singh and Sandeep Singh, the vice-president and director of Harvest Campus, respectively, expressed admiration for Ranjhana’s remarkable performance. Pardeep Kumar, the academy’s chief coach, along with head coach Jagbir Singh and manager Gaurav Bhardwaj, congratulated Ranjhana on her success and wished her continued success in future competitions.
