Additional District and Sessions Judge H S Lekhi inaugurated the newly renovated Bar room at the District Courts Complex here.

Chetan Verma, Vice-Chairman of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, and President of the District Bar Association (DBA), Ludhiana, presented a grant of Rs 2 lakh for the renovation by handing over a cheque to the officials during the ceremony.

Expressing their happiness over the initiative, members of the DBA lauded the efforts made by the executive committee in enhancing facilities for the legal community.

The event was especially attended by Additional Session Judge (ADJ) Saru Mehta Kaushik, ADJ Jaspinder Singh, ADJ Barinder Singh Ramana, and Civil Judge (Sr Division) Preeti Sukhija. DBA office-bearers Karnish Gupta and Rajinder Bhandari; executive members Umesh Garg and Mannat Arora; and lawyers Vijay B Verma, Kamaljit Sharma, Gurpreet Arora, Vijay Sharma, Sushmita, and Harsimrat Kaur were also present on the occasion.
