Principal Gursharan Jit Singh Sandhu while appreciating the efforts of his ex-students said that the author had reproduced important scholarly articles from the college archives.

Editor-writer Goyal said that since the book was written in Hindi, people outside Punjab would also be able to learn about the supreme sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Compiling this book has been a transforming occasion for me, Goyal said.
