To inspire a love for history and appreciation for our cultural heritage, Police DAV Public School arranged a visit for students of classes XI and XII (History) to Kurukshetra, a site of immense historical and cultural significance, as part of its curriculum. During the trip the students explored key sites, including Brahma Sarovar, Jyotisar, Badra Kali temple, tomb of Sheikh Chilli (Harsh ka Tila) and Gurdwara Chhevin Patshahi that reflect historical importance. The visit aimed to deepen the students’ understanding of Indian history. The educators emphasised the importance of such trips in enriching academic learning and promoting cultural awareness. Principal Dr Anu Verma, in her address, said, “We are delighted to host visits for students and provide them a unique learning experience.”
