The Sadar police have registered a case under various sections of the BNS on the basis of a complaint filed by a 15-year-old boy, Shivam Kumar of Lohara village. The complainant said on January 4, he and his father Harinder Kumar were going to work on a scooter. When they reached near Ambera Green flats, a rashly driven car (HR 05 AN 7169) hit their two-wheeler and fled the scene.

Both of them suffered injuries. They were taken to Civil Hospital, where his father succumbed to his injuries.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
