The company’s manager, Rakesh Bahel, said the employees had been working together to commit the fraud. Some of them had been working with the company for over seven years. The probe found that the employees had used their old connections to carry out the scam, causing the company a loss of Rs 10 crore.

The police on Wednesday registered a case against the suspects, charging them with cheating and criminal conspiracy. The authorities are expected to make arrests in the case soon.
