Six arrested for snatching mobiles, 13 phones seized

Three persons were nabbed by the Daresi police near Tower Line for snatching mobile phones.

On getting a tip-off, the police nabbed Neeraj, a resident of Madhopuri, Suraj and Sagar Kumar, a resident of Khasi Khurd, when they were going to sell snatched mobile phones. The police recovered 10 mobile phones, two motorcycles without registration number plates and one sharp weapon from their possession. A case has been registered against the suspects under Sections 308 (5), 303 (2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Daresi police station.

In another incident, Mohammad Karim, Rajvir Singh and Karan Singh were nabbed by the police near Transport Nagar. The Police Division Number 6 recovered three snatched mobile phones, one Honda Activa and three sharp weapons from them.
