Of the six illegal buildings demolished by the civic body, three were being constructed in the Sherpur area, two on the college road and one in Uttam Vihar, on the Bindraban road. An illegal building has also been sealed on the college road.

ATP (Zone D) Harvinder Singh said action against illegal constructions was taken on the directions of MC Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal.

He said an under-construction illegal colony had also been demolished near Alpine Wood School and an encroachment on a road portion was razed in Manohar Nagar.
