Students of Spring Dale Public School made their presence felt, winning eight medals, including two gold, in a tae kwon do competition in different age categories, held at BVM School, Kitchlu Nagar, during the 69th Ludhiana District School Games, organised by the Punjab Education Department.

Mayank, a student of Class VIII, and Harish Yadav of Class XII secured gold medals in U-14 and 19 sections, respectively, and both were selected for the Punjab School Games. Besides, Anmol Kumar and Surya Jaiswal won silver medals in the U-17 group while Paras Khurana (U-14), Tanish Saini (U-17), Daman (U-17) and Aryan Sharma (U-19) fetched bronze medals.

Avinash Kaur Walia, chairperson of the school, congratulated the students.
