The 36th Sub-Junior, 48th Junior and 46th Senior Punjab State Swimming Championship for boys and girls and men and women will be organised by the District Swimming Association under the auspices of the Punjab Swimming Association (PSA) from July 18 to 20, at the Punjab Agricultural University here.

State swimming teams for boys and girls (sub-junior and junior) will be selected on the basis of swimmers’ performance during the championship to compete in the ensuing 41st Sub-Junior National Aquatic Championship, scheduled to be held on August 4 and 5 at Bengaluru and 51st Junior National Aquatic Championship, to be held at Ahmedabad from August 3 to 7, said Anuj Sharma, general secretary, PSA.

Sanjeev Arora, Punjab Minister for Industry, Commerce, Investment Promotion and NRI Affairs, would inaugurate the championship on Friday, said Balraj Sharma, CEO, PSA.
