The 35th Sub-Junior and 47th Junior Punjab Swimming Championship for boys and girls will be organised by the District Swimming Association (DSAL) and Vardhman Textiles jointly here at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) swimming pool on July 20 and 21.

Apinder Singh Grewal, former mayor and president DSAL, said competition in 90 sets of individual and 16 sets of relays will be held during this two-day competition.

The various Punjab teams will be selected during this championship for their participation in the 40th Sub-Junior and 50th Junior National Aquatic Championship to be held in Bhubneshwar in Odisha from August 7 to 10, said, the honorary general secretary of the association, Balraj Sharma.
