Ludhiana: Teen stripped, beaten up, filmed at hotel by friends; 1 held

Three friends of a teenager stripped him, beaten him up and made an obscene video in a hotel room near bus stand here.

They also pulled his hair and humiliated him.

The victim’s father had lodged a complaint against the three suspects at the Police Division 5, following which a case was registered against the suspects. Later, one of them was arrested by the police.

The victim’s father told the police that his 16-year-old son had gone to buy clothes in Chaura Bazaar on July 7 with his friends Heera Singh, Abhijit and Jassi, all residents of Jagraon. As it was night, they booked a room in Hotel Leaf near the bus stand. At night, the three youths did obscene acts with his son. His clothes were removed and he was pulled from his hair. They also made a video after stripping his son. He had requested them not to harass him but the latter did not budge and continued to torture his son.

The Police Division 5 on Thursday arrested one youth, Abhijit, and conducted raids to nab the other suspects. A case under various sections of the BNS was registered.
