Thieves targeted a judge’s house, located about 500 m away from the residence of the Commissioner of Police (CP). The area where the theft occurred has houses of many administrative officials and judges.

The miscreants broke the lock of the rear gate of the bungalow to enter inside. Kumar Saurav, a resident of SAS Nagar, has lodged a complaint with the Thana Division No 8 police in this regard.

Gaurav said on October 9, he went inside the main gate of the bungalow for some work. He found that the rear gate of the bungalow was lying open. Some unidentified miscreants seemed to have broken the gate’s lock. The thieves took away one LCD, 12 branded watches, three smartphones, two cylinders, two pairs of silver toe rings, one pair of silver anklets and utensils.

The police have registered a case against unidentified thieves.
