Complainant Parveen Kumar, a resident of Ghumar Mandi, in a statement to the police stated that he had struck a deal to buy property from the above said persons and had given Rs 1 crore in advance to them in March 2022. At the time of the execution of property registration, the suspects failed to turn up at the Sub-Registrar’s office. The victim contacted the suspects several times and asked them to transfer the ownership of the property to his name, but they refused to do so. Investigating officer ASI Rajiv Kumar said a case was registered against the suspects. Further probe was on, he said.
