The event will be held under the patronage of Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, and will be presided over by Punjab Tourism and Culture Affairs Minister Tarundeep Singh Sond.
Bhupinder Kaur, wife of renowned Punjabi poet Surjit Patar, will inaugurate the programme, while Swaranjit Singh Savi, Chairman of Punjab Arts Council, will be the special guest on the occasion.
Nirmal Jaura, Director, Students’ Welfare, PAU, said students from various colleges of Ludhiana will showcase their talent in literary, music, drama and dance items, being organised to promote art and culture, as done by Surjit Patar and former PAU VC MS Randhawa. The three-day programme will be held at the Dr Manmohan Singh Auditorium, where eminent personalities such as former IPS officer Gurpreet Singh Toor and Rishi Pal Singh, Registrar, PAU, will be present. Poet Amarjit Singh Grewal will present popular poetic verses at the event. Lundi, jhumar, malwaiyan da giddha, kawishri, etc will also be performed on the last day of the event.
