The four-day selection trials to shortlist Ludhiana players in 13 sports disciplines for the forthcoming state-level Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan, began here today. These games, to be organised by the Punjab Sports Department are slated to be organised next month at different venues across the state.

Today, the selections were held in baseball, cycling, fencing, gymnastics, rugby, rowing, rowing, roller skating, kayaking and canoeing at different venues — SCD Government College ground; Punjab Agricultural University velodrome; multipurpose indoor hall, opposite Guru Nanak Stadium; GHG Khalsa College ground, Gurusar Sudhar, and Lesisure valley rink at Sarabha Nagar.
