The 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr BR Ambedkar was commemorated by the district administration at CT University on Monday. Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian, as the chief guest at the event, paid rich tributes to Baba Saheb, praising his contributions to India’s social and constitutional framework. He urged citizens to adopt Dr Ambedkar’s thoughts and principles for an equitable society. He stated, “Baba Sahib’s ideals of equality, justice, and education are the foundations of an inclusive society. We must take collective action to uphold these principles.” Jagraon MLA Sarabjeet Kaur Manuke said Dr Ambedkar’s legacy continued to inspire policies and actions aimed at social justice. She encouraged the youth to draw motivation from Baba Saheb’s life to drive positive change. MP Arora distibutes copies of Constitution

Bhartiya Valmiki Dharma Samaj (BHAVADHAS) commemorated the birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar. Remembering him, MP Arora highlighted his role as the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. He noted that Ambedkar ensured equality for all Indians—regardless of religion, caste, or creed—and championed equal rights for women. He also elaborated on the importance of the Constitution of India, copies of which were distributed as a symbolic gift to nearly all dignitaries on the stage. These calligraphic editions, he said, should be revered as sacred texts and placed in prominent institutions such as government offices, schools, and colleges.
