On the occasion of the 118th birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Congress workers paid floral tributes at a programme organised in Sarabha Nagar.

Former District Congress Committee (Urban) president Pawan Dewan said that martyrs were the true wealth of the nation and Shaheed Bhagat Singh remained a source of inspiration for millions of Indians.

Dewan emphasised that the real tributes to the martyrs lie in following their ideology and values of freedom and justice. Apart from Dewan, several other Congress leaders and workers were also present on the occasion.
