The ASISC zonal competition (organised by the ICSE school board) saw participation of all ICSE schools in the Ludhiana zone today, which included schools from Chandigarh Road and Raikot.

Trisha Sareen, a student of Satpal Mittal School, won gold medals in both 500 m and 1,000 m skating competition. She is just 9 years old and participated in the U-11 category. In this competition, each school was represented by two students from each age group (U-11, U-14 and U-17). The selected winners will participate in the regional competition in the coming months.

Rohit Sareen, father of Trisha, said he was proud of his daughter who had been pursuing her passion in skating with dedication and discipline.
