ACP (East) Gurdev Singh in a statement issued said Daljinder had seven criminal cases pending against him, including charges under the NDPS Act, in the past.

The ACP said on Wednesday when a Sarabha Nagar police team was chasing the suspects, the miscreants lost control over their motorcycle and fell on the road. They suffered leg fractures. Both were admitted to a hospital.
