Two students from the Department of Plant Pathology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), have recently achieved milestones in their academic and research careers. Dikshita Saikia has been awarded INSPIRE Fellowship-2024 and Shubham Kumar has secured admission to Kansas State University.

Dikshita Saikia, a PhD research scholar from the Department of Plant Pathology, has been awarded the prestigious 'Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) Fellowship-2024 by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE Fellowship recognises Dikshita's potential in agricultural science and is expected to encourage her to contribute to the advancement of sustainable agriculture. In another achievement, Shubham Kumar, an MSc Plant Pathology student, has secured admission at Kansas State University, Olathe, US.
