Ludhiana District Cricket Association (LDCA) will hold trials to select U-14 cricket probables (boys) at the GRD Academy ground on Hambran road, here on August 25 at 3 pm. An LDCA official said the selected players would be enrolled with the coaching centre and trained before the final selection of the district team for state tournaments. Players born between September 1, 2010, and August 31, 2012, can participate. No fee will be charged from the aspirants.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
